Meteor island

It was a dark and stormy night that day on meteor island. All you could here was the sound of rain falling and the sudden sound of a meteor crashing to earth. This was the night of the meteor. My name is max and I live here on meteor island. This island is named meteor island because meteors usually fall around or near this island. On that one night a terrible hurricane had suddenly gone over meteor island. The streets got flooded and tree’s were thrown about. The hurricane was not the thing throwing these tree’s how ever! It was him, or actually it. I don’t know what it is but it is big and is terrorizing the city! I should probably tell you more about how it got here though. It was earlier that month and a big festival was going on. Me and my friend sky were enjoying ourselves at the festival and I even won a pie eating contest. I threw up! Any way, on the next day a new kid moved to the island. His name was thunder. Yes I know a funny name! Every one made fun of him but not me. No! I decided since he didn’t have any friends I should be his. Sky didn’t agree at first but then I made him agree to. That day we all went to play in the woods. We were playing paintball. I got it about a thousand times and found out that thunder had recently won an award for playing paint ball! That was a releif because I thought that I actually stunk that badly. While we were playing a meteor suddenly appeared in the sky and was heading our way. We ran away quickly and ducked in the nearest ditch. The meteor had crumble into a small little astroid and hit the earth right where we were playing. We went to see it but when we got near it exploded near the top and a little box fell out. When I touched it a light shot out of the box and into the sky. Then when the light wore off I felt dizzy and then... then... I woke up after what seemed like 10 minutes but I was out for about 3 days. The doctor said I have radiation poisioning but I was fine. When the doctor went out of the room I felt dizzy again and then my arms... they... turned green. Then my whole body was green and then my hair turned into like a jungle of vines and my fingers giant leaves. Huge vines grew out of my back and.. and... then he came. His name was meteopolis. He was a huge creature made of meteors and said " I got you'r call". I thought about it and remembered the light that came out of the box and then.. then... I...... w. w.wo...WOKE UP! My teacher told me to wake up and think of a make beleive story to write about. I knew that it would be easy. THE END.

Favorite fall activity

My favorite fall activity would have to be the activity I do every season which is karate. It is my favorite fall activity because I think it is very fun! I go to karate every Tuesday and every Thursday evening. When I an doing karate I feel really good because I think it is cool to do kata’s, line drills, and to spar. I don’t like to spar that much but it is pretty fun because we get to fight. I sort of like to do kata’s but they get boring like the white belt kata called fundamental set. It is boring because it it just blocks there is no kicks or anything in it at all but we have to learn it! Every now and then in karate we will do pad races where we run from one end of the studio to the other getting pads and then bringing them back, we will play one of my favorite games which is called secret of the ninja! I think it is an awesome game because it is fun to run away from the ninja to defend your self with a pad but it is even better to be the ninja. At the studio my dad (who owns it) throws parties! He has a Christmas party and a Halloween party. His parties are awesome! The party that is coming up is the Halloween party! He sets up a haunted house which isn’t that scary because there is little kids) but it is still a little scary. During the parties there is games 9even though they don’t have anything to do with karate) but they are fun. The Halloween party is on the 24th day of October this year! That is why karate is my favorite fall activity!
